The Phoenix Zoo provides experiences that inspire people and motivate them to care for the natural world.
The Phoenix Zoo is one of the largest non-profit zoological parks in the nation serving 1.4 million guests annually. The Zoo opened its gates more than 50 years ago and continues to be a treasured destination for locals, as well as guests from far and wide. Nestled on 125 acres of beautiful desert and lakes in Papago Park, the Zoo provides natural habitats for more than 1,400 animals, including more than 30 different endangered or threatened species from around the world. The Zoo is proud to provide educational programs to more than 160,000 children and adults each year and supports conservation efforts locally and internationally.
The Zoo relies exclusively on its earned income and the support of members, donors and the local community to provide funds for operational support and capital improvements. Any donation amount you are able to make to the Zoo for Arizona Gives Day will go toward the care of our animals, the enhancement of our educational programs, support of conservation efforts, capital improvements and operating costs.
Thank you for considering a donation to the Phoenix Zoo for Arizona Gives Day 2014!
